Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, metal roofs, and single-ply membranes.
• Conduct inspections to assess roofing conditions, identify issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to detect leaks, cracks, and other roofing problems.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop roofing plans, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure project timelines are met.
• Safely operate and maintain roofing tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Document work performed, including materials used, repairs made, and hours worked.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing installation and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of various commercial roofing systems and materials.
• Proficient in using roofing tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in commercial roofing systems.
• Experience with different types of roofing membranes and coatings.
• Knowledge of modified bitumen roofing systems and ability to use roofing torch.
