Position Overview

As a Lead Service Technician for Commercial HVAC, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to lead a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee the installation of building automation systems and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Manage ductwork installation and repair for commercial HVAC systems - splits and roofs.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with service managers to assess job requirements and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance.
• OSHA 10 preferred, EPA certified. Valid driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems as they relate to HVAC.
• Experience with building automation systems and preventive maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with local and national HVAC codes and regulations.
• Experience with ductwork design and installation.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of technicians effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in HVAC preferred.
