Job summary

HomeSmiles Salt Lake-Ogden is seeking a Field Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot, service, and test field equipment, respond to customer callouts, and meet clients to clearly explain the services you will provide.

You must be able to travel as needed and adapt to a changing schedule. A lead level is expected to efficiently manage service callouts, supervise installation and maintenance, provide preventive care, and deliver high-quality results for jobs of any size while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel and variable schedule.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and training abilities.
• Physically fit to work with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches.
• Meet with the client to greet them and explain the services you will be providing.
• Ensure the client signs the Terms and Conditions before work begins.
• Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Install and test new equipment.
• Provide preventive equipment maintenance.
• Provide technical training on new equipment installations.
• Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle.
• Complete job reports.
