UPS in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Lead Service Associate to support package handling, inventory control, and shipping. You will coordinate with a supervisor, perform core warehouse tasks, and ensure accuracy and safety while meeting SLAs and KPIs.
You will operate MHE such as pallet movers and forklifts, use RF scanners, and manage inventory with the WMS. The role requires ability to lift up to 70 lbs and to work autonomously within procedures.

Delivers hands-on work, typically related to the core UPS business operations. Follows established processes and procedures to execute work efficiently and safely. Performs manual work that requires advanced skills typically gained through a combination of training and considerable on-the-job experience. Typically acts as a lead, coordinating and checking the work of others - but not as a supervisor. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Manages the delivery or deployment of contracted services to customers to ensure that SLAs (service level agreements) and KPI (key performance indicators) as defined in the relevant contracts are met or exceeded. Supports business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and other internal support groups. Responsible for daily facility activities related to government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, processing orders, procuring suppliers, managing inventory, staffing, facility inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, profitability, etc. Performs a variety of financial activities including forecasting, allocations, adjustments and creating annual business plans to meet business unit and corporate initiatives. Responsible for retaining and strengthening customer relationships which may include face-to-face customer service. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the operation. May provide support to field stocking locations (FSL), agent locations across multiple geographies, and support the provider network.
