Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking a Lead Server in the Culinary Department to provide 5-star service to residents and guests, coordinating pre/post shift duties and ensuring accuracy in meal service.

You will greet residents, explain menu items, maintain spotless workstations, deliver timely meals, and uphold the community's high standards of care and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work closely with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers with courtesy and tact.

Responsibilities

• Lead dining room servers through meal service and assign duties.
• Greet residents and guests and explain menu items.
• Set tables and maintain clean workstations.
• Take orders, provide service and fulfill item requests.
• Deliver food in a timely manner and attend to guests.
• Clear dishes and maintain service areas.
• Support with dishwashing and distribution of clean dishes as needed.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work areas and comply with dress code.
• Attend training sessions and perform duties as assigned.
