Job summary

Legends Global delivers premium services for live events and venues worldwide. The role involves setting tables, delivering and displaying food and beverage service, friendly guest interaction, and maintaining clean, safe work areas at events.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with knowledge of food/beverage service, table settings, and menu items, able to lift supplies and communicate in English. This is a fast-paced on-site catering position with teammates across events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to interact with co-workers to meet service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverages, service standards and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings, serviceware and menu items.
• Must read, speak and write English to communicate with guests.
• Able to remember and promote a variety of menu items.
• Must be able to lift 10–30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set tables to meet function specifications.
• Deliver equipment and beverages from storage to event location.
• Set/display food and beverages on buffet tables.
• Serve food, beverages and accompaniments to guests politely.
• Remove used china, glassware, and silverware from the meal area.
• Return dirty items to the kitchen's dishwashing station.
• Return equipment and unused beverages to storage in a neat way.
• Perform general cleaning to meet health and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Catering Supervisor.

The Role

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set tables to meet the function specifications
• Deliver necessary equipment and beverages from storage areas to event location
• Set/display food and beverages on buffet tables
• Serve food, beverage and accompaniments to Catering clientele in a friendly and courteous manner ensuring guest satisfaction
• Quietly remove china, glassware and silverware from meal area
• Deliver dirty china, silverware and glassware to the appropriate kitchen’s dish washing station
• Return equipment and unused beverages and dirty linen to appropriate storage locations in a neat and organized manner
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Catering Supervisor

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, serviceware and menu items
• Must be able to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
