Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a friendly food service team member in Snellville, GA to provide timely, pleasant service of meals to residents and guests. You will work with the kitchen and dining staff to ensure high standards of presentation and cleanliness.

No prior experience is required, but a background in food service is a plus, and relevant certifications (Serv Safe or similar) are preferred. You will join a caring team that emphasizes hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No experience required, but food service experience is a plus.
• Serv Safe or other required local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
• Pride in the quality and presentation of food and the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Take food orders and communicate with the kitchen to deliver to residents and guests.
• Actively buss and reset tables.
• Deliver food to residents' rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, dishware and equipment.
• Assist in managing servers and utility workers as needed.

Job Description

• Accept food orders, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner.
• Actively buss and reset tables.
• Deliver food to residents’ rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitary condition of work areas, dishware, and equipment.
• Manage servers and utility workers as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required, but previous Food Service experience is a plus.
• Serv Safe or other required local, county or state certifications.
• You have the ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
• You take pride in the quality and presentation of food that you have helped to prepare, as well as the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas that you work within.
• You have a generous amount of patience and the ability to effectively communicate with many different types of personalities.
