Job summary

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is recruiting a hospitality-focused Dining Room Lead Server to join our culinary team. This role provides full-scope, hands-on serving functions within our community and supports the Dining Room Manager.

You will supervise dining room appearance, coordinate seating, train staff, manage meal counts and POS operations, and promote an inviting dining atmosphere for residents and guests. Full-time position with competitive $17.00 per hour wages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises dining room appearance and server stations when manager is absent.
• Coordinates efficient, courteous seating for residents and guests.
• Schedules stations and assigns wait staff to maintain standards.
• Provides on-the-job training including safety procedures.
• Records meal counts and reservations; uses POS system.
• Confers with Dining Room Manager on dining room status.
• Assigns side-work and server stations for shifts.
• Promotes inviting dining atmosphere and proper serving etiquette.
• Mentors servers in customer service.

Rose Senior Living Beachwoodis recruiting for a hospitality focused Sever to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Lead Server:

• In the absence of the Dining Room Manager, supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including table pedestals, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes and lighting.
• Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.
• Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met.
• Responsible for on-the-job training for dining room staff including workplace safety procedures.
• Records meal counts, reservations and additional charges. Complete knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Confers with Dining Room Manager regarding dining room status.
• Assigns side-work pre & post shift.
• Assigns servers to work statio
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Train/mentor other servers in all areas of serving, and customer service.

• High school diploma/GED or the equivalent education, training and experience.
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred

Position hours: Full Time

Position wages : $17.00 per hour.
