Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in Newark, DE, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead surveying and mapping projects, overseeing field and office operations to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

You will manage multiple crews, coordinate geospatial data workflows, and ensure compliance with licensing and standards while guiding data processing, CAD drafting, surface modeling, and GIS integration. The role requires strong leadership, client communication, and budget oversight, with a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
• Experience expanding project management duties.
• Proven experience in managing large projects and programs.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards, QA/QC, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Survey Project Management: Manage all aspects of surveying and mapping projects, including boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Field & Geospatial Operations: Oversee field data collection using GPS/GNSS, total stations, LiDAR, and drone/UAS technologies.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all work complies with surveying regulations, standards of practice, and licensing requirements; implement QA/QC.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for clients on survey-related scopes; coordinate with engineers and project managers.
• Financial & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, staffing, and utilization of survey crews; track performance and profitability.
• Business Development: Identify opportunities for additional survey services; support proposals and build client relationships.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor staff; provide technical guidance; support recruitment and retention.
