Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Lead Senior Principal Machine Learning and AI Specialist Security Researcher to spearhead AI and ML initiatives supporting mission-critical projects for the Intelligence Community (IC). This leadership role requires technical proficiency, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to delivering responsible, secure, and cutting-edge AI solutions.

In this position, you will lead the growth and development of AI/ML capabilities within the IT Division, driving high-impact programs from conception to deployment. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to transform vast structured and unstructured datasets into actionable insights, leveraging Python programming, advanced data science methodologies, and emerging AI technologies. This role combines team leadership, technical expertise, and strategic oversight to deliver robust, innovative, and secure solutions that address complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of AI/ML specialists, fostering innovation and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models that enhance operational performance and support business development objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities for AI/ML integration across strategic initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end AI/ML project lifecycles, from research and development to optimization and deployment.
• Ensure projects meet performance metrics, deadlines, and operational requirements.
• Serve as a critical liaison between technical teams and leadership, translating AI/ML concepts into actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with mission objectives.
• Drive adoption of cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and AI/ML methodologies to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies to integrate industry best practices.
• Ensure AI/ML projects adhere to all relevant security protocols, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.

Basic Qualifications

• Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience leading AI/ML teams and high-impact projects.
  • Proven success developing AI/ML solutions for business development and operational enhancement.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive hands-on experience in ML/AI pipelines (data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment).
  • Strong background in Python programming, advanced analytics, and model optimization.
  • Proficiency in delivering AI/ML solutions that drive strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in federal contracting or national security environments.
• Familiarity with advanced AI applications, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Reinforcement Learning.
• Background integrating AI/ML capabilities into classified or secure settings.
