Job summary

Centric is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Kansas City to lead high-end residential projects and act as the primary PM partner to homeowners. You will own budgets, schedules, contracts, and coordination with architects and designers to ensure exceptional client experiences.

The role requires a tenured background in custom homes, proven capability to manage $2M+ projects, and a proactive, communicative leadership style. A stable commitment to the team is desired.

Qualifications

• Tenured experience leading high-end residential projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at $2M+.
• Strong track record of budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and homeowner relationships.
• Deep understanding of residential methods, finishes, and sequencing.
• Financial acumen with forecasts and change management.
• Ability to build credibility with homeowners, architects, designers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-end residential projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners and build trusted relationships.
• Own project budgets, forecasting, contracts, procurement, and schedule.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to align field execution with plans.
• Collaborate with homeowners, architects, and designers on selections and changes.
• Anticipate risks and resolve challenges affecting cost, schedule, or quality.
• Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable for commitments.
• Own the residential PM function and strengthen systems and processes.
