Job summary

SkyIO, Inc. in Idaho seeks an experienced commissioning leader to drive startup activities for semiconductor facilities on-site. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time turnover of systems.

The role requires mentoring, hands-on troubleshooting, and strong ability to read drawings and control narratives, with extensive PLC/HMI/SCADA and utility systems experience across greenfield projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading commissioning or startup teams in industrial environments.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, utilities or similar environments.
• Experience with greenfield construction, expansion, turnover, and factory startup.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, control narratives, loop drawings, network drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and typical project documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, understand concerns, and convey progress and constraints clearly.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop high-performing startup teams.
• Lead commissioning plans, test procedures, punch lists, turnover packages, and operational readiness documentation.
• Experience supporting startup and commissioning activities in semiconductor environments.
• Travel or on-site work as required by project needs.
