Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a Manager, Transport to recruit, supervise, and train security transport staff, oversee security cameras at dispensaries, and review dispatch records for efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience managing a team of onsite security personnel.
• Extensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train staff on security policies and procedures.
• Comfortable handling confidential and classified information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Coordinate office procedures and implement new policies from upper management.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.
• Able to stand for at least 6 hours daily and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
• Must comply with all laws and industry policies.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and trains security transport staff.
• Monitor and oversee dispensaries security camera and activity.
• Review dispatch records for incoming requests.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Monitor active delivery routes taken by drivers.
• Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security transport staff.
• Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace related safety and security topics.
• Provides and/or implements security and security transport protocols for the company and information systems.
• Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
• Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory and loading areas.
• Carefully follow existing SOP’s and suggest updates as needed.
• Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
