A leading regional Security Integration firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronic Security Technician to join our growing team in the Richmond, VA area. About the Role:

As an Electronic Security Technician, you’ll be responsible for both service calls and new installations, with a heavy focus on hospital and medical facility accounts. These environments require a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and technical expertise. Most projects are completed in small, collaborative teams, so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems
• Install and configure new security systems in a variety of environments, including healthcare facilities
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and industry regulations, especially in medical settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in electronic security systems
• Familiarity with platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, RS2, AMAG, or similar
• Experience working in hospital or medical environments is highly preferred
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive learning mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team settings
• Relevant certifications in Access Control, CCTV, or Intrusion Systems are a plus
• Current DCJS and Valid driver’s license with ability to travel within the Richmond region
