Job summary

Securitas Electronic Security Technology and Solutions groups are expanding, and we have an open Project Manager position. This role provides leadership for all PM responsibilities, project delivery, customer satisfaction, and achievement of financial targets.

You will lead projects from analysis through close, plan and schedule work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor progress, and report on key metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or 5 years in a security industry related position.
• PMP certification preferred
• Demonstrated successful history of Project Management leadership including leading multiple simultaneous projects for a minimum of two years.
• Demonstrated skills in the application of Project Management fundamentals, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast paced environment
• Strong organization skills, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to interact with all levels of management
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations
• Excellent leadership, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and build relationships
• Proficiency in a scheduling tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using standard PM methods.
• Develop planning documents including project plans, SOWs, charters, schedules.
• Create sub-plans: communications, QA, resource, procurement, deployment.
• Manage project issues, risks, changes, reporting, and budgeting.
• Document change requests and re-plan as needed.
• Coordinate with resource managers on allocations and performance.
• Ensure QA/QC mechanisms are in place.
• Close out projects and hand over to operations.
• Collaborate with groups to ensure project success.
• Report on customer satisfaction and key metrics.
• Lead definition, execution, and delivery of project deliverables.
• Generate ideas to improve delivery quality and reduce costs.
• Coach and mentor new team members.
• Support other groups as needed.
