Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a security leader to own the on-site security posture for our data center operations in the New York/Buffalo region. You will drive end-to-end security programs, coordinate with vendors, and lead incident response across physical and IT security domains.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to manage complex security incidents, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest security standards for frontier compute infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security at data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Proven track record as on-site escalation point.
• Ability to manage guard, access control and camera vendors.
• Experience driving site-level security incidents to resolution.
• Strong reading of security policies and implementing fixes.
• Clear, fast communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for every security system, process, and policy at your site.
• Act as on-site escalation point for security-related issues.
• Ensure guard, access control, and cameras operate as designed.
• Drive incident response from first notification through resolution.
• Enforce site security policy and close gaps.
• Represent security in site planning and changes.
