Job summary

ClinDCast, LLC, a Healthcare IT solutions and consulting firm, seeks a Lead Consultant to spearhead a large cybersecurity initiative for the DHHS Privacy & Security Office. You will oversee technical security risk assessments and penetration testing across 100 counties, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in cybersecurity, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams on large, multi-site initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead technical security risk assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Develop standardized assessment methodologies, tools, and reporting templates.
• Manage and coordinate the technical assessment team, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assess county IT environments including servers, endpoints, networks, firewalls, IAM, MFA, VPNs, vulnerability and patch management.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate security risks and remediation recommendations.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear, non-technical language for executives, CMS, and stakeholders.
