Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Information Security Systems Engineer to establish and operate enterprise incident response and security-operations across AWS, data centers, and corporate sites. You will lead monitoring, investigations, detection engineering, and risk escalation to safeguard availability, integrity, and confidentiality of services.

Qualifications

• Requires Active US Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 7+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of relevant experience accepted.
• Must have current security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) or DoD 8140 equivalents.
• Experience operating SIEM platforms, alert tuning, and incident triage.

Responsibilities

• Establish and run security operations across AWS, data centers, and on-prem environments.
• Lead incident response, investigations, and evidence handling.
• Develop and maintain IR playbooks, runbooks, and escalation paths.
• Coordinate remediation tracking for vulnerabilities and security findings.
• Produce security metrics and risk reports for stakeholders.
