Qualifications

• Three (3) years' work experience as a security officer in a healthcare facility or criminal justice environment, including one (1) year direct lead or Officer-in-Charge experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the security officer team by providing guidance and recommending changes to promote efficient processes.
• Create or adjust duty schedules to demonstrate organization and management.
• Patrols property to prevent theft or damage to hospital property, equipment, tools, supplies, and other real or personal property.
• Assists in evaluating performance of security officers and in training security officers.
• Conducts surveillance video review as requested by security leadership.
• Coordinates access control and monitors personnel access to controlled areas for authorized credentialed individuals.
• Prepares monthly reports for the Security Department and extracts data reports from Security Access Control Management System.
