What you will do

Install and service card access, CCTV, intrusion alarm, electronic fire alarm, and other related building system products at customer sites. Lead, direct, oversee, and guide the work of installation technicians. Manage various projects, ensure timely completion, and maintain effective communication through regular meetings and detailed reports.

How you will do it

Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals, change notices, and bulletins to repair equipment. Install, troubleshoot, and service security systems. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and manuals. Exhibit excellent customer service skills by maintaining clear communication with staff and customers. Complete installation, programming, and testing using communication devices. Obtain customer signatures upon completion. Perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for

Required

• 10+ years of experience in the Security Industry, including installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming security systems.
• Leadership experience in mentoring installation technicians.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and occasional overnight travel.
• Strong customer service skills and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.

Preferred

• Associate Degree in IT or Electronics.
• Experience with card access, CCTV, fire alarms, networking, and NICET certifications.
