Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is hiring a Security Incident Response Analyst for a remote role; you will own end-to-end investigations, containment, and remediation in a regulated healthcare setting.

You will work with Privacy, Compliance, and Legal on breach determinations, and drive detection improvements across SIEMs and playbooks. Healthcare context preferred, salary up to $95,000 with nationwide remote options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security operations or incident response; 2+ years leading investigations.
• Experience with PHI/PII or regulated data handling.
• Strong written and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud incident response (Azure/M365, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of SIEMs, log analysis, threat hunting, and playbook development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end security incident investigations and containment.
• Coordinate with Privacy, Compliance, and Legal on breach determinations.
• Tune detections, build runbooks, and improve response playbooks.
• Mentor L1/L2 analysts and participate in on-call rotations.
