Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Security Control Assessor to direct the SCA workstream for DoD RMF implementations. You will own assessment strategy, ensure quality standards, and provide independent cybersecurity leadership to ISSM and AO stakeholders.

You will develop evidence standards, test procedures, and BOE documentation, brief risks, and oversee ATO and continuous monitoring, mentoring junior assessors along the way.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with DoD RMF or federal RMF
• Experience leading security control assessments and producing SSPs/SAPs/SARs/POA&M
• Experience administering Windows, Linux, AWS, and containerization systems
• Strong technical writing, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the SCA workstream and define assessment strategy
• Provide eMASS administration, analyze findings, and manage evidence
• Coordinate with ISSM, AO, and stakeholders for RMF activities
• Review SAPs and SARs for technical accuracy and defensibility
• Oversee ATO, reauthorization, and continuous monitoring
• Mentor assessors and maintain independence across the lifecycle
