Job summary

Avint seeks an experienced Assessment Lead to oversee a team of cybersecurity professionals and drive Security Control Assessment activities for a government contract. The role combines technical assessment expertise with leadership responsibilities and serves as a career mentor within Avint.

You will guide SAP development, evidence collection, and the articulation of findings, supporting risk-based decisions and Government objectives.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in security control assessments.
• Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Control Assessment activities and SA/Assessment teams.
• Coordinate with Government and system stakeholders.
• Develop SAPs, assess evidence, and document findings.
• Deliver SARs, risk summaries, and executive briefings.
• Mentor junior team members and manage workload.
