Job summary

DocuSign, Inc. is seeking a Lead SDET to join the Quality Engineering team in San Francisco. You will drive automation and manual testing, design automation frameworks, and validate end-to-end customer journeys for SaaS and enterprise applications.

The role reports to the Senior Manager SDET and requires a hybrid in-office/remote setup with at least 2 days in the office weekly. You will mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 12+ years of quality engineering with a mix of manual and automation testing.
• Experience with UiPath or modern low-code automation tools.
• Experience testing large-scale enterprise finance systems (ERP/CPQ).
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Automate end-to-end business flows for SaaS and enterprise applications using UiPath or similar platforms.
• Build automation solutions that reduce manual effort for repetitive processes.
• Perform exploratory, functional, SIT, regression, and UAT testing for critical releases.
• Perform production smoke tests post go-live; provide hypercare support.
• Validate complex contract workflows, approvals, and integrations requiring business context.
• Review requirements and create detailed manual test cases aligned to acceptance criteria.
• Execute last-mile manual validations before production release.
