Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Lead Scrum Master for a long-term contract in Irving, TX (hybrid) with options in Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ. You will lead Agile delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring backlog readiness and predictable sprints.

The role requires 5+ years as Scrum Master, strong Jira/Confluence experience, and a track record of partnering with Product Owners and stakeholders to drive clear outcomes in a banking/financial services environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated by work, training, or education.
5+ years of hands-on Jira and Confluence experience with backlog management and dashboards.
5+ years delivering end-to-end delivery including planning, execution, release coordination, and post-release validation.
Experience in a banking/financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own delivery readiness and sprint execution, ensuring fully prioritized backlog items.
Lead sprint planning, release planning, and 30/60/90-day horizon forecasting.
Facilitate ceremonies with focus on flow, predictability, and outcomes.
Coordinate end-to-end release readiness, testing, approvals, and deployments.
Track delivery metrics and address risks, dependencies, and impediments.
Ensure alignment with SDLC, risk, security, and governance requirements.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders on scope and priorities.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce manual effort and improve flow.
