Qualifications

• Arkansas state licensure to practice speech therapy in a school setting.
• Knowledge of FERPA, 504, and related education laws.
• Experience guiding IEP development and therapeutic planning.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates the district's speech therapy program.
• Screens, evaluates and monitors students for educational and therapeutic needs.
• Collaborates with staff to share speech performance insights and outcomes.
• Evaluates and documents speech profiles with written reports.
• Participates in development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provides targeted, evidence-based therapy to improve participation and communication.
• Assesses need for assistive technology and makes school-based recommendations.
• Documents services and maintains records per district policies and laws.
