Job summary

Yorktown Central School District seeks Occupational Therapists/COTAs for the Extended School Year program at Yorktown High School. Qualifications

• NYS Professional License as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in school-based OT preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement OT programming in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the school district's OT program.
• Screens and evaluates students to inform educational programs.
• Collaborates with staff to identify student needs and outcomes.
• Documents services and maintains records per policy and law.
• Supervises OT Assistants as needed.
• Plans and conducts continuing education for staff and students.
