Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools Rock Springs Elementary in Lawrenceville, Georgia is seeking a Head Custodian to lead the custodial staff. Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in custodial work required.
• Experience leading staff preferred.
• License: Georgia Class C Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate custodial staff to follow the GCPS Custodial Care Program and maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, and orderly environment.
• Assist the Principal or administrator in leading custodial operations for the school, adjacent buildings, and grounds.
• Develop detailed work schedules and assignments for each custodian and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Monitor daily work and conduct performance evaluations of custodians.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, supplies, and equipment and manage budgets.
