• Prior cook experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.
• Provides quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
• Oversees and participates in preparation and service of food and beverages.
• Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Manages work procedures, schedules and expedites workflow.
• Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, time-keeping).
• Ensures proper cash handling per Food Accounting Manual.
• Orders food and supplies from approved sources.
• Directs sanitation and safety per standards and regulations.
• Develops sanitation schedules and ensures adherence.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Helps select and orient employees; oversees staff training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
