Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools lead bus driver oversees and coordinates assigned bus drivers to ensure safe, on-time transportation for students. The role includes relaying critical information and driving as needed to cover routes or field trips.

Under supervision, you will monitor runs, coach drivers, manage route sequencing, and ensure TIMS compliance. Strong communication with school administration and parents is essential.

• Routinely ride with assigned drivers as a check for route operation.
• Report unsafe conditions or mechanical problems to the area manager.
