Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drives any route as needed and coordinates bus coverage with the Transportation Planner.
• Monitors AM/PM runs and ensures routes are covered; reports tardiness or no-shows.
• Trains substitute drivers on routes and required documents; conducts retraining as needed.
• Maintains bus routes files, seating charts and related documents upon request.
• Assists in bus safety training and may mentor substitute drivers.
• Oversees pre- and post-trip inspections and bus cleanliness.
• Notifies Planner of route non-compliance and follows up to ensure adherence.
