Job summary

Framingham Public Schools is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate students with physical disabilities and determine motor interventions to ensure access to education in the least restrictive environment. The therapist acts as a lead clinical expert, delivering research-based therapy to support academic and functional proficiency.

The position is based at Juniper Hill School for the 2026-2027 school year, with collaboration across MTSS teams, OTs, and classroom staff to implement IEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Doctorate preferred) in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed by the Board of Allied Health Professionals as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a school district or pediatric clinical setting is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and assess motor interventions to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support IEP goals and MTSS.
• Provide coaching and modeling to classroom staff on safe transfer techniques.
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation of therapy services.
