Job summary

A local nonprofit organization in Marcellus is seeking a Head of Group for its School Age Child Care program. The successful candidate will plan and lead enrichment activities for school children and ensure their well-being in line with YMCA guidelines. Applicants should have substantial experience working with children and excellent communication skills. This part-time position offers a salary of $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Working towards, or having a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Substantial experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead thematic-based enrichment program for school age children.
• Provide leadership and assure the well-being of all in line with guidelines.
• Create sustainable relationships within the Y and community organizations.
