Job summary

Tiello in South Florida is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to lead company-wide scheduling for commercial and hospitality projects, coordinating with Preconstruction, Project Managers, and field teams.

You will establish scheduling standards, manage baselines and forecasts, monitor critical path, and translate schedule data into actionable insights for leadership.

Applicants must have 5+ years scheduling in construction and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience working with complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and field operations.
• Strong understanding of critical path methodology and schedule development.
• Experience developing and maintaining baseline schedules, schedule updates, forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary project schedules during estimating and preconstruction.
• Create baseline schedules aligned with contract requirements and milestones.
• Partner with PMs and Superintendents to develop detailed baselines after award.
• Establish scheduling standards, templates, calendars, and coding structures.
• Review baselines for logic, durations, milestones, and constructability.
• Maintain accurate schedules with regular updates and three-week look-ahead planning.
• Forecast project completion and major milestones with realistic targets.
• Identify schedule variances and develop recovery strategies with teams.
• Provide schedule data to leadership and support claims or time extensions.
