Job summary

HDR is seeking a Lead Scheduler to join the Southern California Project Controls team in Long Beach, CA. This role focuses on the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex transportation and industrial projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and leadership to ensure schedule integrity.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of construction scheduling experience, strong expertise with Primavera, and a track record in cost and resource-loaded schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years construction scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera and/or other scheduling software.
• Experience with cost and resource loaded schedules.
• Sponsorship (visa) for US employment is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning and monitoring major transportation or industrial projects.
• Prepare base schedules, schedule reviews, and time impact analyses.
• Monitor and document construction progress.
• Identify, track and help resolve construction issues/conflicts.
• Act as liaison between client, contractors or designers on schedule issues.
• Review and report status of schedules for contract compliance and progress.
• Perform other duties as needed.
