Job summary

Insight Global has eight Lead Schedulers needed for a hyper-scale advanced manufacturing project in Boise, ID. You will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely completion.

The role involves on-site work (80% in a trailer and in the field at least weekly) and coordinating with project teams to manage critical path activities and weekly planning sessions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project scheduling for industrial large-scale construction.
• 3–5 years of scheduling for a GC or subcontractor.
• 3+ years using Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Schedule development: Build detailed schedules from drawings, models, and inputs.
• Progress tracking: Verify progress on-site and input updates into the master schedule.
• Risk mitigation: Identify conflicts, apportion delays, and notify impacts to critical path.
• Team collaboration: Coordinate with PMs, dept heads, and stakeholders; run schedule meetings and planning.
• Mentorship: Train and mentor junior schedulers on scheduling techniques.
• Reporting: Produce weekly/bi-weekly forecasts and progress reports.

Job Description

An Insight Global customer is looking for eight Lead Schedulers for a hyper-scale advanced manufacturing project in Boise, ID. This will be a key role in the project team responsible for the developing, maintaining, and analyzing of project schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of a crucial construction project and will help to direct the schedule from project initiation to closeout. You will analyze project progress, identify critical path variances, and facilitate weekly work planning. This will be a fully onsite position, with 80% of the work onsite in the trailer, and being in the field at least once/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Development: Build detailed schedules from construction drawings, models, and team inputs.
• Progress Tracking: Walk the jobsite to verify progress, collect status updates, and input them into the master schedule.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify scheduling conflicts, apportion delays, and notify the project team of impacts to critical path activities.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information. Facilitate schedule meetings, weekly work planning, and superintendent planning sessions.
• Mentorship: Train and mentor junior schedulers and project teams on scheduling techniques and schedule updates.
• Reporting: Produce and distribute weekly/bi-weekly schedule forecasts, progress narratives, and reports for cross-functional stakeholders.

We do have different levels of schedulers from leads to managers and standard schedulers. Compensation is based off years of relevant experience and education! The pay range is flexible.

We also do offer time and a half for overtime and a daily per diem of $174/day
