Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Leadman for the Plaquemine, LA area. You will supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures on-site, ensuring safety and adherence to site requirements.

Responsibilities include directing scaffold installation, hoisting materials, securing scaffolding for stability, and performing final inspections.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• Must be able to perform physical duties and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on installation.
• Oversee transport of tubular scaffold and erect scaffold as instructed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to permanent structures for stability.
• Adhere to OSHA and site requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Supervise dismantling of scaffolding when instructed.
• Inspect and stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
