Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder - Leadman to supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures at our sites in the United States. You will determine scaffold types, instruct crews, and ensure safe, compliant execution of all scaffolding activities.

The role requires 3–5 years of journeyman experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Determine type of scaffold needed and instruct on proper installation.
• Oversee transport and erection of tubular scaffolding and related materials.
• Hoist scaffolding materials to assemble temporary structures.
• Secure and level scaffold sections and anchor to permanent structures for stability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Supervise dismantling of scaffolding when instructed and inspect/stow materials after dismantling.
