Job summary

NovaTech, LLC in Lenexa, KS seeks a Project Engineer to own the full engineering lifecycle of automation projects for utility and industrial customers. You will design, configure, FAT test, and support commissioning of RTU, SCADA, and substation automation systems while coordinating with PM, procurement, and production teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS in electrical engineering or related field, 8+ years in utilities/SCADA, and strong communication and project management skills; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in the Utility Industry and/or SCADA.
• PMP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and manage multiple automation projects for electric utility customers.
• Perform SCADA integration and configuration on NovaTech products.
• Lead testing of designed systems and FAT support.
• Coordinate with production and project teams to meet schedules.
• Maintain project budgets and track changes.
• Provide on-site commissioning and remote engineering support.
