Job summary

First Quality is seeking a skilled SAP PLM Innovation Engineer to design and build MDG/PLM solutions that support product development, engineering, and manufacturing. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver scalable, integrated SAP MDG/PLM solutions and drive data governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP MDM and MDG solution design and implementation.
• 3+ years of experience with PLM tools (SAP PLM, Leverx IPS or similar).
• Strong understanding of SAP Materials, Vendors and customers data structures, BOM management and engineering change management.
• Proven track record in building and deploying new solutions rather than routine maintenance.
• Proficiency in SAP MDG configuration and customization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and build of new functionalities in SAP MDG and PLM systems.
• Develop and implement integration solutions between PLM tools and SAP ERP systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Establish master data governance frameworks, workflows, and approvals.
• Define data standards, naming conventions, and validation rules for data quality.
• Enable efficient PLM processes through system enhancements and automation.
• Identify opportunities to optimize engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
• Evaluate emerging PLM/MDG technologies to enhance capabilities.
• Provide thought leadership on data management and product lifecycle integration.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation; conduct knowledge transfer and training.
