Job summary

NTT DATA in New Haven, CT seeks an experienced Lead SAP Basis Architect to lead the technical workstream for a S/4HANA brownfield migration to the RISE operating model. You will own the technical architecture, migration strategy, and coordinate with SAP, security, and infrastructure teams on a complex landscape.

The ideal candidate has deep SAP Basis expertise, end-to-end S/4HANA brownfield migration experience to RISE, and strong leadership and communication skills for executive-level status

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive SAP Basis experience, with architecture-level responsibility.
• End-to-end S/4HANA brownfield migration to RISE experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP Basis and RISE technical architecture for S/4HANA brownfield migration.
• Lead assessment, target architecture, readiness, and migration planning across SAP components.
• Coordinate activities across SAP RISE/ECS, hyperscalers, network, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Define topology, sizing, availability, DR, connectivity, monitoring, backup, and operations requirements.
• Lead migration activities including SUM/DMO, sandbox conversions, and cutover readiness.
• Drive Basis standards for HANA, S/4HANA, interfaces, scheduling, certificates, RFCs, and integrations.
• Provide leadership during issue resolution, risk management, and program decisions.
• Create executive materials for leadership and mentor Basis engineers.
