Position Description

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to identify, implement, and sustain business solutions. The individual will be directly responsible for all aspects of project management associated with the assigned projects. The incumbent will assist the business in development of re-engineering of business processes.

Characteristics of This Position:

• Work on projects in MM and QM modules
• Manage medium- to large-sized project teams
• Spend approximately 50% of time on operational activities and 50% on project activities
• Operate independently within their role and guide other team members
• Demonstrated success on various projects is preferred

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Support:

• Provide support to end users of systems, escalate issues as needed
• Create documentation, work instructions, training materials
• Participate in maintenance and upgrade projects

Business Analysis:

• Perform process analysis, document current and future states
• Develop system concepts for implementation
• Serve as liaison to business units and stay updated on technology
• Maintain awareness of short- and long-term needs

Systems Analysis:

• Lead requirements gathering
• Define project scope and develop system designs and specifications

System Development:

• Configure software to meet project goals
• Design system enhancements
• Perform data analysis and mapping
• Design system security
• Conduct testing of developments and changes

Project Management:

• Develop project scope and manage change requests
• Assemble project teams and negotiate resources
• Lead implementation teams
• Manage project plans using methodologies like PMI/waterfall, Agile
• Manage consultants and conduct post-implementation reviews

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in MIS, CS, or Business Administration
• 10+ years experience in SAP MM
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing a small team (up to five members)
