Reser's Fine Foods is seeking a sanitation lead to oversee cleaning and sanitizing of our production facility and equipment. You will train staff, ensure adherence to food safety guidelines, and coordinate with the sanitation team to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

The role involves overseeing daily sanitation duties, labeling chemicals, and ensuring machines are ready for production. Overtime and varying shifts may apply in a refrigerated manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years sanitation experience in the food industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Cleans and sanitizes the production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines.
• 2. Dismantles and reassembles production equipment for cleaning.
• 3. Instructs and coaches employees to properly use protective equipment.
• 4. Labels and maintains all chemicals.
• 5. Trains all employees in good safety and health practices.
• 6. Checks that all machines are clear before production begins.
• 7. Relieves the Sanitation Supervisor when he/she is not present.
• 8. Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• 9. Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Job Specifications

• 1. 2+ years Sanitation experience in the Food Industry is preferred.
• 2. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 3. English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Working Conditions

• 1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.
• 2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25F to 110F.
• 3. Frequent exposure to hazardous material and waste.
• 4. Frequent lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 80 lbs. is required.
• 5. Repetitive hand, wrist and finger activities.
• 6. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
