Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Lead Salesforce Engineer for a wealth management firm to own the delivery and evolution of its RIA CRM platform. The role is hands-on, overseeing architecture, configuration, and extensions while managing implementations, QA, data migrations, integrations, and external developers.

You will mentor Implementation Specialists, lead vendor relationships, and drive projects from planning through production, ensuring documentation and release standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce in declarative development and admin.
• Experience with customized or multi-instance environments.
• Direct experience with Practifi or Financial Services Cloud on Salesforce.
• Experience leading admins, implementation specialists, or outside developers.
• Proven delivery of client-facing implementations on committed timelines.

• Manage external Salesforce vendors to scope, timeline, quality, and budget; track risks and communicate status.
• Maintain documentation standards; mentor Implementation Specialists and grow the CRM capability.

• Experience with customized or multi-instance environments.
• Direct experience with Practifi, Financial Services Cloud, or a comparable financial services platform on Salesforce.
• Experience leading admins, implementation specialists, or outside developers.
• Proven delivery of client-facing implementations on committed timelines.

Preferred

• Wealth management, RIA, or fintech experience; Salesforce Advanced Admin / Platform App Builder certification.
• Apex, LWC, or API/custom integration experience.
• Experience leading data migrations and system conversions.
