Overview of the Lead, Sales (Key Holder) role

You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will bring the brand to life by helping them discover products that suit their entertainment style. Your goal is to drive sales by creating connections and fostering brand loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging customer experiences by sharing expertise on home enhancement
  • Support the management team with opening and closing routines, register functions, and back-office procedures
  • Supervise store operations to meet financial goals and ensure excellent customer service
  • Maintain visual standards, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house organization during your shifts
  • Perform the Selling Captain role by serving as a sales and customer service role model
  • Foster a fair, respectful, and inclusive environment for all associates, aligned with our People First Philosophy
Criteria
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence through personal actions and example
  • 1-3 years retail sales experience; shift supervision preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in home-related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred (retail experience preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. using proper safety techniques
  • Full-time associates should have open availability to meet business needs
  • Part-time associates must be available for at least two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts, with greater availability for 20+ hours/week
