Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Jonesboro, AR to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and uphold store standards. You may lead in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, implementing planograms, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Familiarity with planograms and merchandise presentation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockrooms.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under store manager direction.
• Perform duties typically done by Store Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence.
