Job Summary

Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker, acting as a lead in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist with plan-o-grams, provide excellent customer service, and perform duties to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting assets and reducing losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, face merchandise, and build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Follow ordering practices for zones and drop shipment categories.
• Assist with plan-o-gram implementation.
• Help customers locate merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness: dust, mop, clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Greet customers and operate register functions.
• Handle payments, bag merchandise, and maintain register area.
• Assist with store opening and closing under direction.

In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, responsibilities include authorizing refunds, managing cash, monitoring security, and completing paperwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform calculations and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety policies, and plan-o-gram adherence.
• Effective communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with supervisory experience beneficial.
