Qualifications

• Four or more years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to convert weights and measures accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division).
• Forklift, hoist and crane experience required.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machine for production by checking operating parameters and safety.
• Ensure all materials for production are available and machinery is ready.
• Operate various rubber mixing or processing machinery.
• Inspect own work and the work of others.
• Repair defective parts under supervisor direction.
• Lead operators on a complete production line.
• Clean equipment and recommend maintenance as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the building.
• Complete manufacturing paperwork accurately.
• Assist with maintenance as necessary.
• Load and unload rubber from skids.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in packaging for shipment.
• Train and mentor new hires as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned.
