Job description

Join to apply for the Lead Route Service Driver – ROS role at United Rentals Life.

As a Lead Route Service Driver, you will be responsible for completing daily service routes, servicing, cleaning, and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers. You will also lead and mentor other Route Service Drivers, ensuring safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Route Service truck daily
• Vacuum, clean, and sanitize portable restroom units on customer sites
• Stock/replenish supplies and refill water tanks
• Perform onsite repairs and equipment moves
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and appearance
• Mentor new/existing drivers
• Coordinate with Dispatch on routes and logistics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• CDL preferred
• Minimum 3 years truck driving experience
• DOT medical card
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Basic knowledge of construction industry and safe driving procedures
• Industry experience is a plus (training provided)
• Ability to work some weekends

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive under United Rentals policies.
