Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Lead Route Service Driver to run daily service routes, service, clean and stock portable toilets and related water systems, and coordinate with Dispatch.

The role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor other Route Service Drivers while maintaining professional customer contact on site. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, CDL preferred, and at least three years of truck

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• CDL is preferred.
• 3 years minimum of truck driving experience.
• DOT medical card must be obtained prior to commencing employment.
• Leadership and mentoring skills are required.
• Flexibility to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Route Service truck on daily routes.
• Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Inspect vehicles pre-trip and post-trip; maintain truck logs.
• Train and mentor new/existing Route Service Drivers.
• Coordinate with Dispatch on route planning and logistics.
